What You Will Do to Change Lives 

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. 

Shifts Available: 

On Call; Shift Hours and Days vary as needed

Starting base pay at $38.49 - $ 47.54 Hourly commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements Depending on what shifts you are asked to work: Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift).  Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of program operations 
  • Must attend CPI training.  Must assist with de-escalation as needed

Registered Nurse- Pediatric ICU (Nights)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) healthcare team. This is a 24-hour direct patient care unit with 6 private patient rooms. Patients admitted to the PICU are likely to be those with acute medical disease states. Our patients range in age from newborn to 19 years of age. We primarily care for patients with respiratory distress/respiratory failure, sepsis, status asthmaticus, DKA, status epilepticus, and post op Neurosurgery or other post-operative patients requiring ICU care. This includes patients with invasive monitoring (arterial lines, ICP monitoring, EVD monitoring), surgical drains/chest tubes, invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support, tracheostomies with vent support, vasopressor requirement (epinephrine, dopamine, vasopressin), and/or continuous sedation requirement (versed, fentanyl, precedex etc). This is a supportive close-knit team where the patients and their families are the center of our care. Schedule: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM/36 hours per week Every third weekend rotation MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Utilizes the nursing process to complete the admission physical, cognitive, spiritual, psychosocial, and functional patient assessment.
