JOB DESCRIPTION:

Olympic Medical Physicians’ Orthopaedic clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our collegial team. 

This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is a mix of outpatient clinic, emergency room consultation, and operating room assistance. OMP Orthopaedic APC’s rotate a week of call with other OMP Orthopaedic APC’s. In collaboration with our Orthopaedic Surgeons and Podiatric Physicians, OMP Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Clinicians provide specialty outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine consultation and follow-up care in the clinic and OR setting. 

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State
  • OR
  • Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree

  • Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years prior orthopaedic experience preferred, but not required.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

  • Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State

OR

  • Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority

  • Maintains current DEA registration.
  • Maintains current BLS certification.

Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
