We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a correctional facility in California City, CA. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday day shift schedule and can be structured as full-time or part-time, making it ideal for providers seeking flexibility while working in a collaborative environment paying $60-$75/hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments, exams, and diagnose/treat medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage patient care plans
- Monitor patient health status and respond to medical needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Graduate of an accredited NP program (Family Practice preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Experience in corrections, primary care, or urgent care
- Familiarity with NCCHC, ACA, or JCAHO standards
