A part-time nursing opportunity is available for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized care in a school setting located in Framingham, MA. This contract position involves working directly with a young student in a preschool environment, supporting health and safety with a focus on individualized medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to a 3-year-old student who is ambulatory, active, and requires a tracheostomy and ventilator management during illness
Accompany the student on transportation before and after school, ensuring safe and continuous care during van rides
Monitor health status and administer treatments as needed in the school setting
Collaborate closely with school staff and family to support the students well-being throughout the school day

Qualifications:

Current and active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
Prior school nursing experience required
Ability to complete mandatory CORI background check and fingerprinting process
Availability to work onsite at the preschool on Mondays and Fridays
Must be comfortable riding with the student on the van during transport times
