Registered Nurse School Setting in Lowell, MA

A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to contribute to an ESY (Extended School Year) program near East Sommerville, MA. The program runs from July 6th through August 6th, operating Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, serving approximately 115 students from pre-kindergarten through posthigh school age. This is an excellent way to utilize your skills with a consistent scheduleand your weekends free!

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
  • Previous school-based or pediatric nursing experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student population
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
  • Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily health care, medication administration, and emergency response
  • Maintain accurate health records per regulatory requirements

  • Support a safe, nurturing environment throughout the ESY program
