Responsibilities
This role functions as the Nurse Manager of Skilled Nursing and serves as the acting Director of Nursing for the facility, supporting Title 22 requirements where applicable. As an acting Director of Nursing for the Community Subacute and Transitional Care Center (CSTCC), you will guide the clinical direction, regulatory readiness and nursing leadership that support high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll oversee skilled-nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a compassionate, team-driven culture. You will collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and operational leaders to maintain a safe environment, manage staffing and resources and uphold excellence in daily operations.
When you step into this role, you’ll join a 106-bed care environment that supports both subacute and transitional care for patients who are chronically ill or recovering from illness, injury or surgery. CSTCC provides a dynamic clinical setting where interdisciplinary collaboration is essential to delivering comprehensive, individualized care. You’ll partner closely with therapy services, case management and clinical teams to support patient progression, optimize outcomes and ensure a seamless care experience for patients and their families across the continuum of care.
Qualifications
Education• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing to qualify for state licensure required
Experience• 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required• Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability required• Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
Licenses and Certifications• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
