Summary/Objective 

The LVN Clinic Coordinator provides a variety of patient care activities.

Essential Job Duties

  1. Provides an appropriate clinic environment for patient care by maintaining the patient area in an orderly manner and maintaining neatness of the work environment.
  2. Provides assistance to physicians/providers with examinations, procedures, and patient education, as well as, performing patient care activities, including coordination of patients’ appointments. 
  3. Documents all aspects of patient care according to Departmental Standards. 
  4. Performs nursing skills effectively according to established standards of care, as well as demonstrates interpersonal competencies such as problem solving, negotiation, and conflict management.
  5. Interacts with physician practices, pharmacies and drug reps while always maintaining a professional level of conduct.     
  6. Supervises the Clinic Coordinators while providing them with resources and guidance to ensure a smooth discharge and scheduling process. 

Required Education and Experience

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

1-3 years of related experience.  

Required License/Certifications

LVN license to work in the State of Texas
