Embark on a meaningful contract role serving students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a dynamic educational environment near Tacoma, WA. In this float position, you'll provide both general health room coverage and focused 1:1 support for a student with tracheostomy needs. This is an opportunity to play a crucial part in the daily well-being and safety of students, with multiple openings available for dedicated and compassionate nurses.

Skills and Experience:

Active LPN license in Washington State
Prior experience with pediatric trach or 1:1 care, gained in school or clinical settings
Ability to work confidently across a range of common school health scenarios, responding with skill and empathy
Adaptable team player who communicates effectively with students, school staff, and families
Strong assessment and documentation skills to maintain accurate health records

Role Highlights:

Float between general school health rooms and 1:1 support for a student with trach needs
Serve as a resource for daily student health care, medication administration, emergency response, and health education
Collaborate with other school professionals to ensure each students unique needs are met safely and respectfully
Optional opportunities to increase your hours by supporting before- and after-school activities
Full-time, onsite schedule (37.5 hours per week), with contract running ASAP through June, with potential for summer and extension into next school year
