School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Glendale, California

Make a meaningful difference this summer by supporting students as a Registered Nurse with an extended school year program located near Glendale, CA. This part-time contract role is perfectly suited for experienced school nursing professionals interested in a rewarding short-term assignment.

Youll work Monday through Friday with convenient morning hourseither 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 1:00 PMallowing your afternoons to remain open. The assignment starts June 17, 2026 and concludes July 17, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

Active California RN license is required
Previous school-based nursing experience is a must
Credentialed school nurse candidates given preference
Reliable transportation and close proximity to the location for timely arrival
Ability to commit to the entire duration and daily schedule of the ESY program

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, addressing acute and chronic health needs throughout the school day
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student safety and well-being
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Respond promptly and effectively to health emergencies on campus
