Era Living is seeking part-time Floor Nurses (LPN/RN) to become the newest members of our care team within our Memory care unit at Ida Culver House Broadview, a beautiful retirement community in North Seattle, WA. 

Ida Culver House Broadview is close to several bus lines and has ample, free street parking nearby.

Available shifts: NOC shift Sunday and Monday (11:00pm-07:30am). .

Primary Responsibilities:


The Floor Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Terrace Manager and Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families
Ability to provide resident and family education
Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email and internet
Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to pass DSHS background check, required


Education and Experience: 

• Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN

• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving

• Two years’ experience working with older adults

• Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults

• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training

• Must have current CPR certificate

• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
