Sign-On Bonus


Bonus Payment Schedule

The $1,000 sign-on bonus will be paid in the following increments:

• Payment #1 – After 90 days of continuous employment $500

• Payment #2 – After 120 days of continuous employment $500

The total bonus will be distributed across these two payment periods.

Job Summary

Wedgewood Nursing Home, a proud member of AHS, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a long-term care facility setting. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services provided

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and staff

  • Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with best practices in patient care

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification in the state of Texas

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
