Job Summary:

At Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and reliable care to our senior clients. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Senior Caregiver ( Preferably Male Caregiver) to join our team! As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide companion care to a senior client with dementia, assisting with daily tasks and providing a helping hand and a friendly smile.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and homemaker duties, including light housekeeping, shopping, and errands
Assist with personal care duties, including dressing, feeding, showering/bathing, mobility assistance, toileting/incontinence, and memory care
Engage in activities that bring joy and stimulation to the client, such as playing games, watching movies, or going for walks
Document client's progress and daily activities
Maintain open communication with the client's family and our organization

Requirements:

Previous Caregiving experience, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or experience caring for a loved one
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Valid Driver's License with a reliable vehicle and insurance
Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by Seniors Helping Seniors

Working Conditions:

Part-time schedule with flexible hours
Occasional light lifting and bending may be required
Must be reliable and able to commit to regular shifts
