Position Summary

The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care. This role plays a key part in staff supervision, clinical oversight, and driving positive outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities

Assist the DON with daily clinical operations and staff management
Support and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling and coaching
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in audits, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Monitor clinical documentation and resident care outcomes
Assist with survey readiness and follow-up
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio
Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Strong knowledge of LTC regulations and survey process
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with EMR systems preferred
