Now Hiring: RN Nurse Educator Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities:

Providing professional and technical guidance to subordinate nursing staff and participates in all management functions of the nursing department
IP collaborates and consults with physicians, managers, and staff for the management and prevention of infectious diseases.
Plan, organize, develop, and direct all staff development educational programs throughout the facility.
Providing learning opportunities that will enable all employees to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned duties safely and effectively.
Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Qualifications:

2yrs Long Term Care Supervisory Experience Required
CDC Infection Control training Certified (or willing to obtain within 60d)
Ability to work independently or part of a group
Communication skills
Computer knowledge.

License:

Must have an active RN Registered Nurse license in DE
