We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Unit Manager to join our team at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton, a 171-bed skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for the 24-hour coordination and management of resident care activities, unit operations, and nursing personnel on a designated nursing unit or shift. Can be an LPN or RN. $41 an hour if a LPN, $45 if an RN.

Job Summary:

As a Nursing Unit Manager, you will:

  • Serve as a resource to staff in clinical and managerial decision-making, delegating responsibilities to staff

  • Assist in developing methods of coordination of nursing services with other resident care services to ensure the continuity of the resident's total regimen of care

  • Participate in inspections (surveys) made by authorized government agencies

  • Participate in and assure appropriate assessment of residents, validating nursing staff's clinical decisions

Requirements:

  • Must possess an active and unencumbered LPN or RN license in Massachusetts

  • Bachelor's in Nursing preferred; CPR certification required

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public

  • Leadership and supervisory ability, with the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
