Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk
Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient care and address any concerns or issues
Maintain accurate and thorough records, including patient data and unit statistics
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities
Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting staff engagement and morale

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina
Minimum 0 years of experience as a nursing professional, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities
