Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Jefferson, NC. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluations

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce risk

  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient care and address any concerns or issues

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records, including patient data and unit statistics

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of North Carolina

  • Minimum 0 years of experience as a nursing professional, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities
