Registered Nurse Subacute Unit Manager (RN) Schedule & Benefits:

Registered Nurse Subacute Unit Manager Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Must have an Active (RN) Registered Nurse license preferred.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may be considered

  • Previous experience managing clinical staff in a long term care setting is preferred

  • Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans

  • Educate patients and families on best practices to promote healing and wellness

  • Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines

  • Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process

  • Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.

  • Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift.

  • Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.

  • Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Computer knowledge.and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) is preferred

  • Ability to work independently or part of a group.

  • Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
