A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician, as appropriate. May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.

  • Treatment plan is implemented with consults and referrals with interdisciplinary team regarding patient assessment findings conducted as appropriate at all times.
  • Plan of care is reassessed, revised and modified based on physiological and psychosocial findings as evidenced by documention in the treatment plan. Patient plan of care is reviewed with interdisciplinary team at all times.
  • Tests and consults are ordered as required by plan of care, reviews test results 100% of the time. Plan of care is discussed with patient and family at all times as evidenced by documentation.
  • Education is provided to patients based upon identified risk factors as evidenced by patient education programs that are developed, revised and evaluated based on the effectiveness of learning.
