Position Summary

Provides MFM virtual care only. Consultative care and treatment based on stipulation that a physical exam is not required.Responsibilities • Conduct virtual assessments and follow-up visits for high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with MFM physicians. • Review and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to discuss with patients. • Provide patient education regarding fetal conditions, prenatal screenings, and pregnancy management. • Coordinate care plans with referring OB/GYN providers, MFM physicians of the practice and other specialists. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in virtual multidisciplinary case conferences. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements • Washington State APP license by the time of employment • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association • Minimum of 3 years of experience in obstetrics or maternal fetal medicine preferred. • Experience with telehealth platforms and Epic HER system. • Must be able to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.

Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month services periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
