Registered Nurse School Setting - Hamburg, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous experience in a school nurse, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
• Solid clinical assessment, emergency response, and medication administration skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Ability to provide compassionate care while prioritizing student safety and confidentiality
• Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse student needs across multiple locations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to students within the ESY program, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and collaborate with educators and parents to ensure student health needs are met
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care with outside providers when necessary
• Document all health-related incidents, treatments, and interventions in accordance with school and state regulations
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and best wellness practices
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support overall student well-being
