Job Summary:

The RN will perform various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. RN duties include (but not limited to): assessing patients physical, psychosocial and  behavior health needs; advocating for patient; administering prescribed medications, immunizations and preparing exam room, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures. Each position has specific requirements with unique duties and responsibilities.

Education and Training:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred

Licensures/ Certifications:

  • Idaho State RN license or MultiState license required.
  • Current American Heart Association’s BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have strong communication/writing skills.
  • Able to deal effectively with patients and family members. 
  • Able to work in a team environment while maintaining a highly professional and productive work ethic.
  • Computer proficiency.

Experience:

  • One year of previous nursing experience. preferred.
  • Previous clinic experience, preferred.

Education and Training:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred
