Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for either a 4th grade student (G-tube, wheelchair, seizures) or a PreK student (trach care), both in special education classrooms
  • Accompany assigned student to and from school by bus, starting each day at the students home
  • Support other students in the classroom as needed and assist as a school clinic nurse when assigned student is absent
  • Foster collaborative relationships with classroom staff, students families, and district personnel to ensure safe, consistent care
  • Maintain thorough, real-time electronic documentation
