Registered Nurse (RN) – Long‑Term Care (LTC) Travel Contract

Location: Philip, SD

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Start Date: 6/8

Shift: Mostly Days, with some Nights as needed

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,074

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Long‑Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Philip, South Dakota. This role primarily offers day shifts, with the expectation of covering occasional night shifts based on facility needs. This contract is ideal for a nurse who values consistency, teamwork, and providing high‑quality care to residents in a supportive LTC environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to LTC residents, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and care planning

• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes

• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism

• Uphold facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations

Requirements

• Active RN license (SD or compact state)

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent LTC or skilled nursing experience

• Ability to work primarily days with flexibility for night coverage

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and reliability
