Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active LPN/LVN nursing license in Florida required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Confident with trach suctioning, tube feeding, oxygen monitoring, and toileting assistance
  • Able and willing to accompany student on the school bus to and from the campus (Ft. Pierce pickup)
  • Excellent communication, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized daily care for an elementary student requiring medical intervention and monitoring
  • Perform specialized procedures such as trach suctioning, tube feeding, oxygen management, and toileting as needed
  • Travel with the student on the school bus, ensuring safety and immediate care during transit
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all care and interventions
  • Collaborate with school personnel, families, and care teams to ensure comprehensive support and continuity of care
  • Act as a compassionate, dependable presence throughout the academic year

This is a full-time, on-site contract role running approximately from August 10th, 2026, through June 1st, 2027, at 35 hours per week.
