Your assignment includes riding the bus with the student—beginning at a designated Fort Pierce pickup location—ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care during transportation and throughout the school day. You’ll manage health needs such as trach suctioning, tube feeding, oxygen monitoring, and toileting. This position allows you to focus on providing individualized care while building a supportive, ongoing relationship with your student.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN or LVN nursing license in the state of Florida
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with pediatric populations and comfort providing 1:1 care
- Skills in trach suctioning, tube feeding, oxygen monitoring, and personal care
- Willingness and ability to accompany the student on the school bus daily
Role Highlights:
- 1:1 care for an elementary-aged student at a single school site
- Full-time schedule: approximately 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7-hour days)
- Consistent assignment throughout the school year (approx. August 10, 2026 – June 1, 2027)
- On-site direct involvement, including all student transportation to and from school
