Step into a rewarding contract position working closely with a student as a 1:1 School Nurse. This opportunity is ideal for an RN or LPN with strong pediatric skills and a passion for delivering personalized, compassionate care in an educational setting. Located near Brookline, MA, you will support a single student with a tracheostomy, ensuring their well-being throughout the school day and while traveling on the van to and from school.

This full-time role is Monday to Friday, with 3537.5 hours per week, running through June 2026. Youll form a meaningful connection with your student, help facilitate their safety and comfort, and work collaboratively with school staff, therapists, and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts (MA)
  • Prior pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience or comfort with tracheostomy care required
  • Commitment to providing 1:1 care, riding the school van to and from school each day
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous care and monitoring for one student throughout the school day
  • Administer required tracheostomy support and any daily medical interventions
  • Monitor the students condition, report changes or concerns promptly, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educators, school health team, and parents to ensure coordinated care
