Role Overview:

  • Deliver individualized, one-on-one nursing care in a school environment
  • Monitor the students health status and respond to medical needs as required
  • Administer medications, treatments, and provide support as prescribed in the care plan
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and student health status
  • Serve as a collaborative member of the school healthcare and educational team
  • Work onsite only, with hours dependent on student attendance (no makeup hours for missed days)
  • Maintain professional communication with staff and family as appropriate
