Job Summary:

New Hope Manor in Cedar Park is seeking a Full Time weekend RN to assist in supervising the overall day-to-day functions of the facility. As a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents, while providing professional leadership and support to our staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating staff and scheduling to ensure seamless operation of the facility

  • Providing professional leadership to our caregiving team

  • Covering shifts as needed, including weekends

  • Monitoring quality of care for residents and implementing improvements as necessary

  • Rounding on all hallways to ensure resident needs are being met

  • Conducting occasional tours of prospective admissions

  • Effective communication with residents, staff, and family members

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities

Hours:

  • Negotiable, with a focus on Saturday and Sunday shifts

May immediately suspend and/or require staff to clock out and leave the facility for such unacceptable actions as drunkenness, fighting, patient abuse, refusing an assignment, insubordination, etc. Assists in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and termination of employment of nursing personnel. Assures adequate staffing for all units calling replacement staff as necessary. Completes investigation sheets on all accident reports and submits to ADNS.
