You will contribute your expertise by working closely with students, staff, and families, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. This part-time position is scheduled for 21 hours per week—Monday, Tuesday, and Friday—and will run from ASAP through June 11, 2026. One unique aspect of this role is the requirement to ride the school bus, providing care to students in transit and helping to ensure their safety before, during, and after the school day.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
  • Ability and willingness to ride the school bus as part of daily duties
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and emergency response
  • Support students with chronic health conditions and provide first aid as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals regarding student health needs
  • Participate in health screenings, immunization record management, and school wellness initiatives
  • Provide care to students during transit on the school bus
