Responsibilities Functions as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by assembling supplies and equipment required for the procedure. Participates in pre-procedure operating room set-up adhering to established reliable method. Confirms, prepares, and organizes requested sterile supplies and instruments for procedures with inspection and confirmation of supply and instrument sterility. Performs accounting procedures in concert with the circulating nurse per organizational policies and procedures activating escalation and taking corrective action as needed.
