Clinical App Support Analyst Position Details
- Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, FL
- Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
- Shift Hours: Any shift between 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Weekend Work: Occasional
- On Call: Yes
- Responsible for understanding clinical requirements in an operational healthcare setting and translating those requirements into formal specifications for products and services.
- This includes leveraging capabilities of a clinical information system to re-engineer clinical workflow supporting the use of clinical technologies.
- Responsible for supporting physicians, physician extenders, nurses and ancillary staff in the utilization of multiple clinical information systems that impact their workflow.
- Use a strong understanding of physician and/or clinical workflow processes and identifies the impact of a system's functionality on those processes.
- Work closely with other members of BayCare Information Services, Nursing Leadership, Medical Staff Services, and Clinical Education.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, in addition to strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes.
- 3 years Registered Nurse
- Preferred 2 years Clinical Informatics
- Associates or Diploma Nursing
- Preferred Bachelors
- RN (Registered Nurse)
