Clinical App Support Analyst Position Details

Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, FL
Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
Shift Hours: Any shift between 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Weekend Work: Occasional
On Call: Yes

Clinical App Support Analyst Key Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding clinical requirements in an operational healthcare setting and translating those requirements into formal specifications for products and services.
This includes leveraging capabilities of a clinical information system to re-engineer clinical workflow supporting the use of clinical technologies.
Responsible for supporting physicians, physician extenders, nurses and ancillary staff in the utilization of multiple clinical information systems that impact their workflow.
Use a strong understanding of physician and/or clinical workflow processes and identifies the impact of a system's functionality on those processes.
Work closely with other members of BayCare Information Services, Nursing Leadership, Medical Staff Services, and Clinical Education.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, in addition to strong understanding of clinical workflows and processes.
