This full-time position, located in the Minneapolis area, offers up to 34 hours per week for a long-term substitute need, spanning 68 weeks with immediate start. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of Minnesota
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Ability to assess, triage, and respond effectively to student health needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with relevant health room protocols and state compliance requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver care to high school students for minor illnesses, injuries, and chronic health concerns
- Maintain accurate health records in accordance with school policy and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with students, parents, educators, and other professionals to promote health and safety
- Support individualized healthcare plans and medication administration
- Educate students and staff on wellness topics, health procedures, and preventive care
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide skilled first aid as needed
