Position Details:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Schedule: 4-10 hour weekdays (day shift), possible weekend rotation in future
- No Call!
- Inpatient primary management of hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplant, and cellular therapies in Parkview Tower
- Opportunity for cross training in new Outpatient Center for Transplant and Cellular Therapy
- Strongly Preferred: Acute Care/ICU nursing or provider experience
- Preferred: Oncology or heme/onc nursing or provider experience

Role Purpose
The nurse practitioner functions within their scope of practice as a healthcare provider, working in a multidisciplinary health team to provide care to patients and families across subspecialty practice settings. They demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise with acute and chronic illnesses encountered within the inpatient and outpatient subspecialty settings. The role demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge, interdisciplinary collaboration, and systems-based practice. They work with staff, nurses, physicians, and medical/surgical trainees to assure safe, effective, quality patient care.Minimum Board Certification(s):BJH: Adult-Gerontology Primary Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)SLCH: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care (CPNP-PC), Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care (CPNP-AC), or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Preferred Board Certification(s):SLCH: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care (CPNP-AC)
