Responsibilities align with the needs of our clients in assisting with daily activities to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Meal preparation
  • Housekeeping
  • Companionship
  • Personal hygiene care
  • Transportation assistance
  • Other light duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Eighteen years of age or older with valid driver’s license
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum of six (6) months of caregiving experience (professional or familial, including care for a family member)
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check.
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Capable of working responsibly with confidential information.
  • Accountable, reliable, and ability to work independently with good judgement.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check

Additional certifications in specialized areas of resident care, such as dementia care or palliative care. Responsibilities: Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide full personal care after bathing such as hair care, nail care and dressing. Help residents with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment. Monitor residents for any changes in skin conditions and report to the supervising nurse. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring proper sanitation. Accurately chart the care provided and any resident observations in the facility's electronic health records.
