The Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse renders care to patients in the clinic setting working as a valuable member of the health care team making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider.
The RN is a competent nurse who has mastered technical skills and uses evidence-based interventions in providing age-appropriate care to patients and families. The RN continues to collaborate with other health care team members when the need for assistance is identified.  Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies for practice.  In this role you will demonstrate knowledge and clinical skills needed to perform all nursing care, treatments and procedures with the direction of the provider.

 

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks 
  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
    • 1 day off every other week
  • No weekends or major holidays

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay based on experience. Starting pay at $33.98 per hour.  
    • Pay range: $33.98 - $50.96 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current MN RN license required
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
  • Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff.

You'll lead at the enterprise level with clinical high reliability services focused on patient and caregiver safety, clinical risk management and patient and caregiver experience. These functions are aligned through principles of High Reliability Operations (HRO). This role will work collaboratively with operating structures across the enterprise. In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room.
