This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to make a lasting impact by serving as a Certified School Nurse, ensuring that students on IEPs receive the quality care and support they need for academic success.

You will be the primary health resource for one school, working with a caseload of approximately 78 students who have individualized education plans (IEPs). Key responsibilities will include conducting hearing and vision screenings required for IEP testing, as well as providing consultative support and training for staff on managing a variety of student health needs such as allergies, feeding tubes, or seizure protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Certified School Nurse License for California
  • Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
  • Registered Nurse (RN) background preferred
  • Experience conducting hearing and vision screenings
  • Familiarity with supporting students who have complex health needs in educational settings
  • Strong communication and training skills to educate staff on health protocols

Responsibilities:
