Position Summary
Arnot Health is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Critical Care / ICU team. This provider will work collaboratively with intensivists, physicians, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.

Position Summary
Arnot Health is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Critical Care / ICU team. This provider will work collaboratively with intensivists, physicians, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients
- Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with attending physicians
- Respond to clinical emergencies and codes as part of the critical care team
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and care plans
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State licensure or eligibility
- National board certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
