C ollaborates with interdisciplinary professional staff, patient, family and caregivers to ensure appropriate clinical follow-up plan and continuity of care.

C linical resource on chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration for inpatient nurses. Provides 4-hour clinical introduction to chemotherapy/Immunotherapy administration to inpatient nurses.

M aintains records, inventory and physical security of drugs, medical supplies. Orders and restocks supplies as needed.

A dheres to infection control practices to maintain a safe Infusion Center environment. Manages the interface between the patient and medical technology to ensure a safe, respectful and humane environment.

E valuates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and relevant statutes and regulations, identifying short and long-term professional goals.

U tilizes the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as the foundation for nursing practice. Adheres to, up to date, ONS/INS and institutional policies and procedures to administer Infusion services.

I nteracts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and others practicing in a Shared Governance model of nursing practice.
