Position Title: Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist
Location: Logan Health Primary Care – 705 6th Ave West, Kalispell, MT
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 Hour Shifts

Our providers and care team deliver a full spectrum of primary care services, including family medicine, preventive health, chronic disease management, and wellness support. We’re seeking a Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our dynamic and patient-centered team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful patient interactions, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and values teamwork while supporting both clinical care and laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for exams, procedures, and provider visits.
- Obtain and record accurate vital signs, health histories, and medication information.
- Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling, processing, and documentation according to established protocols.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures, immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
- Support care coordination, follow-up calls, patient education, and provider communication.
- Manage workload messages, medication refill requests, and patient follow-up tasks.
- Maintain exam rooms, laboratory areas, equipment, and supplies in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of laboratory specimens.
- Contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere through teamwork, professionalism, and excellent communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
What We’re Looking For
- Current RMA or CMA credential recognized in the State of Montana preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience required; formal phlebotomy training or certification preferred.
- Prior clinic, outpatient, or laboratory experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a busy clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care.
