CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) - Varied Hours and Weekends based on department needs
Rate of Pay is $21.63-$26.78 per hour, based on certification year and experience 
$2.00 Shift Differential | $1.00 Weekend Differential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living in a skilled nursing environment
  • Provide hands-on nursing care as determined by individual care plans
  • Ensure resident safety and comfort while lifting, transferring, and supporting them as needed
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State certification as a CNA required
  • Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift
  • Capacity to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents, particularly when lifting exceeds 35 pounds
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork

Understands and adheres to GCMC’s Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and GCMC regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they are changed or modified. Experience - Experience working with the elderly population preferred. - Must be listed in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant with no findings of abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation of property/funds. Education High School graduate or GED preferred Essential Functions 1. Performs routine patient/resident care duties under the direction of the Registered nurse or LPN. 1. Assists with direct care of the patient/resident (dressing, grooming, ambulating, toileting, transferring). 2.
