Responsibilities:

Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.
Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs.
Handle admission of new residents.
Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.
Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Weekend Nurse Supervisor:

Previous Experience as a Weekend Nurse Supervisor preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse
Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
At least one (2) year of clinical experience
Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Long term care experience preferred

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care services through coordination, implementation, ad supervision of field staff. The Registered Nurse Supervisor ensures that field staff follows the POC and delivers care accordingly. The Registered Nurse participates in quality improvement activities within the agency, promoting overall compliance with State and Federal guidelines and professional standards of practice. Position qualifications: * Must be a registered nurse with a public health, home health care, or hospital background * Must have at least 2 years clinical experience Physical qualifications: * Must be able to hear and speak in a manner understood by most persons. * Must be able to travel to prospective patient's place of residence * Must be able to stoop and bend; must be able to lift and transfer patients. Duties and responsibilities: Demonstrates leadership and provides direction to members of the patient care team through case management of patient home health episode of health care. Case management of patient services includes: A. Initial in home evaluations and/or assessment B. Establish the patient's individual treatment and medical record baseline. C.
