As a member of the Patient Care Services Management Team, provides supervisory coverage and support for clinical and managerial processes. Assumes responsibility for all departments in the absence of a specific onsite department head or manager.

Education And Credentials

Current NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Bachelor of Science Degree Nursing preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. ACLS preferred.

Experience

Three (3) years of nursing experience in a clinical setting required. Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.

Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e. physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning delivery of care. 2. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, TPN, infectious disease and wound care, if applicable. 3. Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained. 4.
