Job Description

As an APRN, you’ll deliver expert, compassionate care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Working closely with physicians and a collaborative care team, you’ll assess patients, diagnose conditions, create treatment plans, and provide both physical and psychiatric care. This role also includes occasional on-call duties and coverage beyond your primary area when needed.

You’ll bring advanced skills in mental health, health promotion, patient education, and medical management—making a meaningful impact every day.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program

  • Active RN license in Missouri and Nurse Practitioner certification

  • Specialty certification (as required by Missouri Board of Nursing)

  • Active Collaborative Practice Agreement

  • Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • 3–5 years of clinical experience (preferably in mental health or primary care)

  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills

  • Leadership ability and team-oriented mindset

  • Excellent communication skills across diverse populations

  • Commitment to working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness

  • Ability to manage challenging patient behavior with empathy and professionalism
