The House Supervisor position supervises and directs patient care and related activities of the hospital according to policy, procedure and the mission statement, vision, and values of Corona Regional Medical Center. Provides clinical support to hospital staff. Coordinates staffing of the nursing units. Coordinates patient bed placement/patient flow. Acts as liaison between patient units and other departments. Works collaboratively with department directors. Serves as administration representative.

 

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.


Qualifications

Minimum Essential Experience:

  • Minimum of two years recent clinical nursing experience in acute setting required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Required Licensure / Certifications:

  • Current California Registered Nurse license required.
  • Current B.L.S. (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS required within 90 days of start date.

Clinic Nurse Supervisor

The RN Clinic Supervisor provides leadership and management of the InnovAge clinic. They are responsible for the supervision of assigned staff providing guidance and monitoring the performance of the clinic staff and the direct care given to the participants. The Clinic Nurse Supervisor is familiar with a variety of the RN, LPN, MA, Outside Scheduler, Clinic Clerk, PCW and CNA practices and department procedures and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Clinic Nurse Supervisor in this position works closely with therapy staff, social services, physicians, administrative staff, patients and their families. Participant Nursing – 40% Monitors compliance with all applicable licensing, certification and accreditation requirements.
