Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a meaningful opportunity to support a student on a daily basis? We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 School Nurse (LPN) to provide transportation support for a student in Merrimack, New Hampshire for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details

Location: Merrimack, NH
School Year: Full 2026-2027 School Year
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week
Schedule: About 3-4 hours per day
Summer Opportunity Available: July 6 August 9 for candidates interested in additional work

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing support during student transportation
Ride the bus with the student during morning and afternoon transportation
Assist with student safety, monitoring, and mobility needs while in transit
Collaborate with family, transportation staff, and school personnel as needed
Maintain appropriate documentation and communication regarding student care

Daily Schedule

Morning pickup at the student's home around 7:25 AM
Ride the bus with the student and return around 9:30 AM
Return for afternoon pickup at approximately 1:00 PM

Student Information

Student may have mobility challenges
Student is non-verbal and may utilize an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device
Additional support needs will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire LPN license
Experience working with pediatric or special needs populations preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Reliable, compassionate, and student-focused approach to care
