Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Endoscopy Technician (CNA, CMA, CST) to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:       

Assists the physician with endoscopic procedures and related testing according to the doctor’s preferred routine.  Performs endoscope reprocessing and troubleshooting; cleans, maintains and orders supplies and equipment. Admit/Recovery tasks as delegated. Facilitates and demonstrates cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors at all times

Education/Certification: Current nursing assistant certification or a degree/certification in medical assisting or scrub technician. Current BLS certification required.

Experience:  Experience in endoscopy procedures including procedural assisting and disinfection/sterilization preferred.

Equipment/Technology:  Basic computer knowledge. Operation of endoscopy scopes, equipment & endoscope reprocessing units (scope washers).

Language/Communication:  Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Mathematical Skills:  Basic

Mental Capabilities:  Can frequently and consistently make sound judgments under time constraints.

Interpersonal:  Ability to work well with others.

Performance:  Can work well under pressure.
