We are seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurses to provide clinical services in a secure healthcare environment. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting medical providers, and ensuring patient safety while adhering to established clinical protocols and security procedures.

Position Overview

Registered Nurses in this setting provide direct patient care to an adult population, perform assessments, administer medications, and respond to both routine and urgent medical needs. Nurses must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively within a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate medical staff
  • Respond to medical emergencies and participate in emergency response protocols
  • Accurately document all care provided using electronic or written medical records
  • Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and healthcare staff

Schedule & Shifts

• Full-time schedule
• Typically 8-hour shifts
• Day and evening shifts may be required
• Monday through Friday schedule; hours may be adjusted based on operational needs
• Generally not to exceed 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and security clearance
  • Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in correctional, institutional, hospital, emergency, or acute care settings
  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

This position provides clinical guidance, consultation, oversight, and support to interdisciplinary care teams serving high-risk Medi-Cal members with complex medical, behavioral health, and social needs. The Clinical Case Consultant works closely with Lead Care Managers, Community Health Workers, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Behavioral Health staff, healthcare providers, health plans, hospitals, and community-based organizations to ensure members receive coordinated, high-quality, person-centered care. This role combines clinical expertise, care coordination, quality improvement, staff development, field-based oversight, and community collaboration to improve health outcomes, reduce avoidable utilization, and support compliance with CalAIM ECM requirements and best practices.
