In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students! Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. Compensation The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. YOU will be able to create a safe and therapeutic community by providing oversight and vigilance around documenting and administering medications and completing assessments to ensure the best treatment for our students. YOU will help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop awareness around their medical needs and how to make healthy choices around nutrition, hygiene and exercise. The Susan Wayne Center of Excellence is located on thirty-eight acres of property in beautiful Thompson, CT. Thompson is centrally located, 25 minutes south of Worcester, MA and 40 minutes west of Providence, RI. The program serves 33 adolescents with developmental disabilities who range in age from 10-21. Our program specializes in working with youth who have experienced complex trauma. Our clinical model is grounded in a trauma informed framework called ARC.
