Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts nursing certificate (LPN or RN)
  • Previous school nursing experience or a strong interest in working in pediatric/educational settings
  • Reliable and able to provide dedicated 1:1 care throughout the students school day and transport
  • Compassionate communicator with families, school staff, and administrators
  • Ability to support care plans, manage medications, and respond to health needs with professionalism

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing support and monitor the student during school hours and during transport to and from school
  • Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to maintain a safe, inclusive environment
  • Administer medications and manage any health procedures as prescribed
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation
  • Address emergent health concerns, responding appropriately and promptly
