Registered Nurse | Regional Float Pool

$42.86 - $80.43 / hour

CentraCare invites passionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Regional Float Pool team. In this multi-hospital float pool RN position, you’ll have an opportunity to work in rural settings at one of our critical access hospitals (Paynesville, Melrose, Long Prairie and Sauk Centre) and at our Magnet-designated hospital (St. Cloud). RNs in this role often work independently and must quickly adapt to different units' workflows and protocols, fostering a high degree of professional autonomy and confidence.

 

Current openings: 

  • Full-time | 60-72 hours every two weeks | Night | 12-hr shifts | 7pm-7:30am | Every 3rd weekend 
  • Full-time | 60-72 hours every two weeks | Day/Night rotation | 12-hr shifts | 7pm-7:30am | Every 3rd weekend 
  • Holidays per unit policy

     

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay based on experience and degree (ADN, BSN or MSN) and Tier.
    • Tier 1- one site; float to 2 or more specialties
      • Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour
    • Tier 2- multi-site; float to 2 or more locations and 1 specialty
      • Pay range: $44.57 - $74.37 per hour
    • Tier 3- multi-site; float to 4 or more locations and 1 specialty
      • Pay range: $46.35 - $77.34 per hour
    • Tier 4- multi-site; multi-site & multi-specialty
      • Pay range: $48.20 - $80.43 per hour
  • Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts 
  • $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
  • Current Minnesota RN License required
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • BSN or higher required within 36 months of being hired
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with nursing expertise in a related area of specialization preferred.
  • 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year.
  • Nursing specialty certification preferred.
  • TNCC certification or equivalent within 1 year (if ER specialty)
  • NRP within 1 year (if Mom/Baby specialty)
  • CALS within 1 year

To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full-time or part-time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
